When two full cases of various Q.bel chocolate bars arrived at our Hudson Valley Life world headquarters not long ago, it was thought to be a bit of overkill. They were placed next to the office microwave and…somehow they began to disappear at an alarming rate. These are all natural chocolate wafer bars, with no artificial
colors, flavors, or preservatives and no high fructose corn syrup or hydrogenated oils. The company, based in Nyack, says this about the dark chocolate version: “Our quest was for a product that would gratify and satisfy with just the right combination of light and airy wafer, delectable cream filling, and exceptional Belgian chocolate covering the whole shebang. We hope you enjoy them.” We did. It’s a light, tasty treat without a lot of unnecessary ingredients.
